Activities
CROSSING PROTECT will implement its activities across 3 main project phases:
PHASE I
In the FIRST PHASE partners will work on building a peer-learning community for adult learning practitioners to share the knowledge, to acquire new competences and to lay solid groundwork for future transnational and cross-sectorial cooperation activities between the Restorative Justice and Victims Support systems through:
- Mapping the main cross-working approaches of the systems (RJ/VS) and the main skills and competences requested to their operators in order to provide high-quality services
- Setting a common benchmarking starting point for the capacity building of their operators
- Sharing a common training methodology and proposing a joint training programme for RJ/VS operators
In the SECOND PHASE partners will implement and participate into a joint and cross-sectorial capacity building programme for RJ/VS trainers/operators through:
- 4 online training events for the pilot group of participants addressing hot topics of the RJ-VS cooperation when dealing with crimes against women
- 2 transnational training events for partners’ staff according to the peer-learning principle and non-formal education approach
- 3 smaller working/study groups to focus their work on one of the specific training outcomes belonging to the training programme
PHASE II
PHASE III
The THIRD PHASE will be the real training ground where RJ-VS partners will have to work together at a cross-sectorial level in the working/study groups to develop specific training outcomes. Through:
- Creating a common model for RJ/VS training activities
- Developing training toolkit to deliver high-quality victim's services
- Proposing a roadmap for a cross-system (RJ&VS) working approach
